The Hit List presented by Black Sheep Tequila will feature three of Nashville’s hottest hit songwriters sharing the stories behind the songs you know and love. Join us for an intimate evening of music, storytelling, and a special tequila tasting with light bites as the writers perform their hits in an up-close songwriter’s round.
This unique format offers a rare look inside the creative process as the songwriters share how their biggest songs came to life before performing them live in the legendary Live Room.

Meet the Songwriters
Chris DeStefano: Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer Chris DeStefano has helped shape modern country music with a long list of chart-topping hits. His songwriting credits include “Something in the Water,” “Good Girl,” and “Smoke Break”by Carrie Underwood, as well as “From the Ground Up” by Dan + Shay. Known for his powerful melodies and emotional storytelling, Chris continues to be one of Nashville’s most in-demand hitmakers.
Zach Kale: Zach Kale is a Nashville songwriter behind several massive country hits. His credits include “I Hope” and “The Good Ones” by Gabby Barrett, as well as “Country Boy Do” by Nelly and Tyler Hubbard. Zach’s songs blend modern country storytelling with wide-appeal melodies that have topped charts and resonated with fans across genres.
Justin Wilson: With more than 100 recorded songs to his name, Justin Wilson has written hits for some of country music’s biggest artists. His standout songs include “Kiss You in the Morning” by Michael Ray, “Drunk Me” by Mitchell Tenpenny, and “We Went” by Randy Houser. Justin is known for crafting songs that combine memorable hooks with authentic storytelling.
