About Jocelyn Gould: Guitar/Vocal
JUNO Award winning guitarist Jocelyn Gould “has quickly become an international favorite with her hard swinging, imaginative approach and technical mastery” (Joe Lang, Jersey Jazz Magazine). Her joyful energy has captivated music fans around the world and her passion for music is as infectious as her unique ability to connect with audiences. Jocelyn has absorbed the influences of the jazz guitar greats and has woven them into an exciting personal sound, citing Wes Montgomery, Grant Green, Joe Pass, and Kenny Burrell as primary influences on the guitar.
Jocelyn’s debut album, Elegant Traveler, won the 2021 JUNO Award for Jazz Album of the Year: Solo. Her albums Sonic Bouquet and Portrait Of Right Now were nominated for 2024 and 2025 JUNO Awards for Jazz Album of the Year: Solo.
2025 saw Jocelyn tour full time as a leader and supporting musician throughout Europe, North America and Japan playing in venues such as Massey Hall in Toronto, Birdland and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in New York City, the Montreal Jazz Festival, Pizza Express SOHO in London, UK, Le Duc Des Lombards in Paris, and Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen. She released a solo guitar and voice album in the fall of 2025, which is her 5th release as a leader. 2026 will see Jocelyn continue to tour internationally and release her 6th album, So Delighted, which is her first organ trio album.
Jocelyn has performed and recorded as a supporting musician with GRAMMY-nominated vocalist Freddy Cole, JUNO-winning trumpeter and vocalist Bria Skonberg, GRAMMY-winning pianist Geoffrey Keezer, DownBeat Trombonist of the Year Michael Dease, Etienne Charles, Caity Gyorgy, Benny Bennack III, Jon Gordon, Rodney Whitaker, Will Bonness, Randy Napoleon, Diego Rivera and many more.
Jocelyn is an experienced educator and was a full time professor and the Head of Guitar Department at Humber College in Toronto from 2019-2024. She is the guitar faculty at the Brevard Jazz Institute in North Carolina and the Seiko Summer Jazz Camp in Tokyo, Japan. She has been a guest artist at Jazz Institute Berlin, the Leeds Conservatory of Music, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Michigan State University, University of South Carolina, North Eastern State University, Ohio University, University of North Carolina, Broward University, and others.

About Jordan VanHemert: Saxophone
Jordan VanHemert is a Korean American saxophonist, composer, and bandleader working in the contemporary post-bop tradition. An active international touring artist, he has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia — including frequent appearances in Korea — at major venues such as Dazzle in Denver, Cliff Bell’s in Detroit, Mr. Tipple’s in San Francisco, and The Blue Llama in Ann Arbor. His recent recordings and touring have brought him into collaboration with leading figures in modern jazz including Terell Stafford, Michael Dease, Helen Sung, Rodney Whitaker, and Lewis Nash. In 2027, he will release a new album on Cellar Records featuring Stafford, Whitaker, Nash, Miki Yamanaka, and Jocelyn Gould.
VanHemert’s music has earned sustained international recognition. Japan’s The Walkers praised a recent album as “the musical expression of what it means to be alive,” while MMJazz Korea described him as “another rising star at a time when the number of Korean jazz musicians is rising.” In the United States, JazzTimes editor-in-chief David R. Adler has highlighted his “authoritative sound” and “penetrating musical intelligence,” and longtime collaborator Rodney Whitaker calls him “a powerful voice on saxophone… telling his story through the lens of his Korean cultural traditions.”
Born in Korea, and raised in Michigan, VanHemert discovered jazz through Charlie Parker recordings from his late grandfather’s collection, later immersing himself in the alto lineage of Parker, Cannonball Adderley, and Kenny Garrett alongside tenor influences including Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, and Joe Henderson. Across his recorded output, VanHemert seeks to unite the depth of the jazz tradition with the breadth of his cultural and lived experience — a philosophy he summarizes simply: “We live our best lives as musicians when we bring all of ourselves to the art form.”
Now a professor and clinician as well as a performer, he serves as Director of Jazz Studies and Associate Professor of Saxophone at Northeastern State University. In addition to serving as the director of the university’s flagship jazz ensemble, NSU Jazz Orchestra, Dr. VanHemert serves as the director of the Green Country Jazz Festival, one of the longest running collegiate jazz festivals in the United States. Previously, he has served on the faculties of the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University and Hope College, earning awards for exemplary teaching and his commitment to students in and outside the classroom.
VanHemert holds degrees from Central Michigan University, the University of Michigan, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. VanHemert is also a Vandoren Artist-Clinician, Selmer Paris Saxophones Performing Artist, and KeyLeaves endorsing artist.
Robbie Lee: Piano
Robbie Lee is a New York City based pianist, vocalist, composer and educator whose spectacular ability to merge his equal talents make him one of the most exciting emerging artists to date. Growing up in Tucson, AZ Lee was encouraged by his mother to find music he enjoyed. Falling in love with earlier blues and rock and roll music, Robbie eventually found jazz as a new way to express himself. Through joining the Tucson Jazz Institute, Lee was exposed to a broad range of jazz from Traditional to Post-Bop styles. Eagerly gathering information from the plethora of this music, Lee was encouraged to develop his own voice and keep an open mind.
A graduate of both The Juilliard School(AD ‘21) and The Manhattan School of Music(BM ‘18), at 27 he has already shared the stage with his mentors, such as world renown jazz icons Wynton Marsalis, Jimmy Heath, Herlin Riley, Bruce Barth, Matt Wilson, and Brice Winston. As both a leader and a sideman, Robbie has graced several world class stages, including Dizzy’s Club, Smalls Jazz Club, Birdland, Frederick P. Rose Hall, and Joe’s Pub. He has also played in numerous jazz festivals across the globe including the Monterey Jazz Festival, The Umbria Jazz Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and the Bern Jazz Festival. Throughout his career, Lee has earned recognition for both his performance and composition skills, receiving awards from Downbeat Magazine, YoungArts, The Essentially Ellington Festival and Competition, and The Next Generation Jazz Festival.
Commonly regarded as a first rate pianist/vocalist, Robbie draws musical inspiration from Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk, and many others. While he mostly performs songs of the Great American Songbook and Jazz Idiom, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of the genre, Lee also enjoys composing new works that feature his peers and himself.
As a writer, Lee has arranged/composed works ranging in ensemble size from solo piano to full orchestra. He credits world-class musicians such as Scott Black, Doug Tidaback, Brice Winston, Ted Rosenthal, Jeremy Manasia, Phil Markowitz, Frank Kimbrough, Charenee Wade, and Geoffery Keezer as mentors who have played a crucial role in shaping his skills and artistic vision.
Just as his mentors did for him, Robbie believes in giving back to the community and teaches regularly in the NYC metropolitan area, passing on his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of musicians. With a growing collection of awards and accolades to his name, Robbie continues to inspire, uplift and warm the hearts of audiences and his peers alike.
About Felix Moseholm: Bass
Felix Moseholm b 9/9-1997 in Copenhagen, Denmark, is one of the exciting voices on the double bass today. While he is best known for his work with Brad Mehldau, Samara Joy and Sean Mason, he enjoys working with a wide range of artists covering many different musical styles.
Felix’s musical background is rooted in an early encounter with the classical cello repertoire. After playing the cello for 10 formative years he was encouraged to make the switch to double bass by his granduncle Erik Moseholm (bass player with Don Byas, Eric Dolphy etc.)
At age 18, after a few years of playing professionally in Denmark, Felix decided to move to New York fueled by curiosity and a desire to learn about American culture and music in its birthplace.
In New York, Felix received mentorship by Gerald Cannon and George Coleman among others, while earning his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Juilliard (2018-2023). He quickly integrated into the local scene as he began performing regularly in and around the city while keeping up with his schoolwork at Juilliard.
About Maria Marmarou: Drums
Maria Marmarou is a graduate of Temple University, where she studied with Justin Faulkner and Steve Fidyk, earning her undergraduate and graduate degrees along with a professional studies certificate. Maria has shared the stage with notable artists such as Dick Oatts, Tim Warfield, Catherine Russell, Michael Dease, Orrin Evans, Greg Osby, Terell Stafford, Carmen Bradford and the Count Basie Orchestra, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, among others. Her performances have taken her to prestigious venues including Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, Damrosch Park, Rose Hall and the Kimmel Center. She is endorsed by Sabian cymbals.
