Jennifer Marriott is a multifaceted artist from Canada, known for her soulful singing and dynamic presence in the local music scene, often performing with her husband, blues artist Pete Marriott. They have lived in Tulsa for approximately twenty years and blend various music styles, drawing comparisons to Janis Joplin. An award-winning vocalist, Jennifer has won the Blues Society of Tulsa (BST) Vocalist of the Year twice and has performed at numerous festivals across the country. The Marriotts played the Tunes @ Noon series at the Church Studio in January and have been on stage many times performing with Ann Bell and the Tulsa Sound at Carney Fest.
Together with their band, they support five independent CD releases and participate in local events. They are both releasing new music this year: Jennifer recently recorded a new 10-song release, and Pete has a completed 10-song release. They are fun to watch as well, with their playful stage chemistry. You can often catch them at the Osage Casino or the Sidecar Barley & Wine Bar on Cherry Street.
