The Church Studio welcomes Micky Dolenz of The Monkees with a *surprise guest from rock history* for our next Legacy Concert Series on May 5th. Please join us in welcoming Micky Dolenz – legendary singer, actor, and drummer of the iconic band The Monkees – as he brings his celebrated career to the acoustically pristine Live Room at The Church Studio. Dolenz rose to fame starring in the Emmy-winning television series The Monkees and singing lead on chart-topping hits including “Last Train to Clarksville,” “I’m a Believer,” and “Daydream Believer.”
With The Monkees selling more than 65 million records worldwide and their first four albums reaching No. 1, Dolenz remains one of the most recognizable voices of the 1960s pop-rock era. His performance will feature beloved Monkees classics along with stories from a career spanning television, film, Broadway, and decades of live touring.
The Church Studio is redefining live music events – bringing a thrilling experience to a finite group of 100 guests in the acoustically pristine Live Room (original sanctuary) of The Church Studio. The Church Studio, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is both an analog and digital recording studio, archive and audio engineering school. The team has designed a series of rare but highly curated, intimate concerts showcasing legacy artists. Each concert will undeniably be a “bucket list” level event.
The Church Studio Legacy Concert series will showcase musical artist performances that foster the mission of The Church; honoring the legacy landmark’s fascinating music history while creating opportunities to enhance attendee engagement – 100 guests will enjoy:

LOUNGE LISTENING EXPERIENCE: Enjoy the lounge with our vintage JBL speakers as the live performance is piped into the Lounge. You’ll have direct access to the bar; however, you will not be in the studio with The Speaker Wars and there is no video.
