Casii Stephan
Casii Stephan didn’t come to Tulsa chasing fame. She arrived in 2014 intending to walk away from music altogether. Instead, Tulsa gave her back her voice.
Her sound moves through soul, pop, rock, and blues without settling into any one of them. It’s raw, emotionally direct, and unmistakably her own. Shortly after arriving in Tulsa, she wrote “Without a Box” while sitting beside a river, reflecting on a simple question: is life meant to hold tightly to what’s familiar, or flow toward something unknown? That same honesty runs through everything she creates. Onstage, she moves effortlessly between power and intimacy, making each performance feel personal.
Her songwriting has earned recognition in the International Songwriting Competition and the USA Songwriting Competition. This year, she was selected as an AmericanaFest showcase artist and reached the finalist round of Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk competition, one of the most respected songwriting contests in the country.
Stephan is currently preparing for the March 2027 release of her debut full-length album, Let Her Have Flowers, produced by Chad Copelin. Written over four years, the collection explores grief, love, loss, healing, and self-discovery through a blend of pop, R&B, Americana, and alternative influences.
At The Church Studio, Casii performs Leon Russell’s “A Song For You” on the legendary Dan Fogelberg grand piano. Offstage, she’s known for her warmth and generosity toward audiences, especially young fans.Watch Casii Stephan perform “A Song For You” live at The Church Studio: Casii Stephan – “A Song For You” Live at The Church Studio
